How often do you catch yourself (and/or others) hooked in to some kind of Emotional Drama that often has an addictive quality to it?
Like you know it's not super healthy but you can't help but stay engaged with it?
So much of ordinary life is fuelled by this dramatic emotional energy and we try and navigate life from with in.
A large number of movies, most TV 'drama's and the majority of mainstream news stories are feed by this dynamic.
No wonder we find it so addictive. What if there were another way?
What if the BIG dramatic emotional energy that we think is LIFE is actually the bi-product of having shoved your feelings down for most of your life rather than having learnt how to feel, listen to and express them... functionally.
Through the lens of the Drama Triangle we'll explore how our suppressed feelings (aka our emotional charge) becomes the fuel for the Triangle's infamous archetypal roles of Victim, Perpetrator and Rescuer and how we can shift to a much more radically responsible and Extraordinary Drama Triangle fuelled by the 4 archetypes of conscious Feelings.
It's not about escaping the Drama.
We are all playing the leading role in our own theatrical play. But we each get to choose how the drama plays out.
